Image Recolor help

Recolour an image without a photo editor: lay a colour over it, swap one colour for another, or knock out a plain background. The image is processed on a canvas in your browser and never uploaded.

Tint

  1. Pick a tint colour and a blend mode. Colour keeps the light and dark of the photo but shifts every hue toward the tint (good for a duotone look). Multiply darkens, Screen lightens, Overlay and Soft light add contrast.
  2. Use Strength to fade the effect in.

Swap colour

  1. Set the "From" colour. "Pick from image" lets you click the picture to sample it.
  2. Set the "To" colour.
  3. Tolerance widens how many nearby shades count as a match. Softness feathers the edge so the change is not a hard cut.
  4. Shading is preserved: every matched pixel moves by the same amount, so highlights and shadows survive.

Cut background

  1. The background colour is guessed from the corners. Adjust it, or pick from the image.
  2. Tolerance removes more shades of that colour. Feather softens the cut-out edge.
  3. Save as PNG to keep the transparency.

Limits

Every edit runs on a canvas in your browser. The image is not uploaded.
