Common questions

Can I change the separators?

Yes. You can set the grouping character and the decimal mark, for example a dot for grouping and a comma for decimals.

How large a number can it spell out?

Into the quadrillions. Beyond that it reports that the number is too large to name.

Does it do currency?

It groups and fixes decimals, which covers most of it, but it does not add currency symbols or locale rules.

Does anything leave my browser?

No. The tool runs entirely on this page.
