Mock Data Generator help

Mock Data Generator builds rows of plausible test data: names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, companies, dates, and a few more field types.

Steps

  1. Pick the fields you want and how many rows.
  2. Set a seed if you want the output to stay stable.
  3. Copy the table or download it as CSV.

Common questions

Is the data real?

No. Names are drawn from fixed word lists and the rest is generated. Any resemblance to a real person is coincidence.

Why is there a seed?

The generator is deterministic. The same seed and fields give the same rows every time, so a dataset you share does not drift.

How many rows can I make?

Up to 1000 per run. Run it again with a different seed for more.

Is anything uploaded?

No. The rows are built in your browser and the CSV is saved locally.

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you enter or drop is uploaded.
